EDRA K. FAIDLEY died April 5, 2012 in Olathe, KS at the age of 91. Edra was born on August 8, 1920 in Alida, Kansas the daughter of Olin and Ida (Sautter) Roles.

Edra was raised in Geary County and attended country schools. She attended Salina Beauty Academy. She married Paul Moody on June 11, 1944 and he preceded her in death on January 28, 1965. She owned and operated Edra's Beauty Shop, Town and Country Beauty Salon and was a cosmetologist and medical aide at Lakeview Retirement Center. She later married Alex Faidley on February 2, 1967 and he preceded her in death on April 1, 1989. Edra was also preceded in death by three brothers, Paul, Ray, and Dean Roles and a sister, Cleo Hoff. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, library board, and Noble Grand of Rebekah Lodge, all of Wakefield.

Daughter: Linda and husband Terry Oard, Salina, KS

Step-Son: Don Faidley, Roeland Park, KS

Step-Son: Karl and wife Dorothy Faidley, Arkansas City, KS

Step-Son: Paul and wife Ann Faidley, DeSoto, TX

Step-Son: Dean and wife Lola Faidley, LA

6 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren

Sister: Marcene Allison, Junction City, KS

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church in Wakefield, Kansas.

Officiating the service will be Reverend Diana Stewart.

Burial will be at the Riley Cemetery, Riley, Kansas.

Visitation will be held on will be held from 5-7 PM Friday, April 6, 2012 at the Wakefield Funeral Home.

Memorials can be made to may be made to the church or the Good Samaritan Society and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
