Adina Crawford

ADINA CRAWFORD died October 26, 2009 at Clay County Medical Center, Clay Center, KS at the age of 70. She was born on March 28, 1939 in Clay Center, Kansas the daughter of Francis Johnson and Floma Klein. She graduated from CCCHS in 1957 and worked at Union State Bank after graduation. Adina married Loun Crawford on July 4, 1958, he survives of the home. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Clay County Arts Council where she served ad president and treasurer, City Band where she served as Secretary/Treasurer, American Legion Auxillary, 4-H, Girl Scouts and taught flute lessons from her home. Survivors include: Husband: Loun Crawford, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Cindy and husband Miles Thompson, Wichita, KS Daughter: Sandy and husband Bill Fox, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Candan and husband Dan Spellman, Geneva, IL Daughter: Mindy and husband Chad Curtis, St. Cloud , FL Sister: Loleita Roberts, Manhattan, KS 9 Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Larry Myers. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 3-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. The family will greet friends from 4-6 PM Memorials can be made to United Methodist Church or Meadowlark Hospice c/o the funeral home
