ADOLPH F. ROGGE died May 1, 2013 at his residence in Wakefield, KS at the age of
93. ADOLPH F. ROGGE was born on October 14, 1919 in Palmer Kansas, the son of William
Rogge and Hanna Marie Struber.
Adolph graduated from the Clifton High School. He served in the U.S. Army during
WWII as a Drill Sergeant in Tyler, Tx. Adolph married Helen Carlson on August 2, 1941. He operated a bowling alley and worked for Northern
Natural Gas, and was a rural mail carrier in Clifton and Wakefield before retiring in 1983. Helen preceded him in death on January 7, 1984. Adoplh then married Edna (Debauche) Gieber on October 6. 1984, she survives of the home. He
enjoyed carpentry and fishing. He was a member of the Clifton American Legion, a board
member for the Wakefield City Park and Farmers and Merchants Bank of Wakefield. He also
supported the Kansas Landscape Arboretum at Milford Lake. He is preceded in death by 2 sisters
and 4 brothers.

Step-Son: Terry and wife Kim Gieber, Spokane, WA
Step-Son: Steve and wife Vicki Gieber, Abilene, KS
Grandchildren: 3 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, 18 Step Grandchildren and 23 Step Great Grandchildren
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 1:30 PM at the Turner Chapel in
Clifton, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Ross Kirk.
Burial will be at the Clifton IOOF Cemetery, Clifton, Kansas.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 4 from 12:30 until service time at the Turner Chapel.
