Agnes Scripter

AGNES K. SCRIPTER died November 7, 2009 at Medicalodge, Clay Center, KS at the age of 97. She was born on January 28, 1912 in Louisville, Nebraska the daughter of Emil and Maude (Loberg) Carlson. She married Clifford Scripter on August 12, 1931 and the couple farmed in Clay County. She faithfully did the bookwork for their business, Longford Mill Products Corp. for many years. Clifford preceded her in death on February 7, 2000. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and participated in Friendship Circle in her younger days. She also enjoyed playing bridge with several groups in Clay Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, one grandson, five brothers and sisters and two son in-laws. Survivors include: Son: Donald and his wife, Shirley Scripter, Clay Center, KS Son: Richard and his wife, Dorothy Scripter, Clay Center, KS Son: Larry Scripter and his companion, Mary Jackson, Niwot, CO Daughter: Bonnie and her husband, Tim Snyder, Aurora, CO Daughter: Delores Botz, Beatrice, NE Grandchildren: 18 Grand, 44 Great Grand, 15 Great Great Grand Sister: Elsie Mugler, Clay Center, KS Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 10:30 AM at the St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Paul Tessaro. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on will be held from 3-8PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to may be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church in care of the funeral home.
