Ailene Mall

AILENE ROSE MALL, 87 died April 10, 2015 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka, KS. She was born on April 18, 1927 in Clay Center, KS, the daughter of Harry and Ella (Egdorf) Steward. Ailene was raised in Clay Center and graduated from CCCHS in 1944. She married Floyd Mall on March 27, 1948 and the couple made their home in Clay Center. Floyd preceded her in death on January 28, 1989. Ailene was a seamstress for various people in Clay Center and also worked as a receptionist for KP&L. Ailene moved to Topeka in 2008. She was a member of the Clay Center Presbyterian Church and a life member of the Elks Club. She is preceded in death by infant son, Larry. Survivors: Daughter: Patty and husband, Tom Brown, Topeka Son: Doug and wife, Margaret Mall, Pierre, S.D. 6 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren Brother: Rex Steward, Topeka Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 1:30PM at Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center, KS Officiating the service will be Rev. Scott Lingle Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, KS Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 11:00AM-1:00PM atNeill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home Memorials: may be made to the Ailene Mall memorial fund to be designated later by the family and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
