Aldo Burkman

ALDO DENISON BURKMAN died May 6, 2008 at Medicalodge, Clay Center, KS at the age of 88. He was born on June 27, 1919 in Randolph, KS the son of Enfred Burkman and Esther Denison. Aldo farmed near Garrison, KS and in Clay County. He married Lela Fronce on July 24, 1940. He later moved to Clay Center and worked for Hutchinson-Mayrath where he retired. He was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister, and an infant son. Survivors include: Wife: Lela Burkman, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Mary Sue and husband Jim Wade, Colorado Springs, CO Son: Gene and wife Jane Burkman, Loveland, CO Daughter: Judy and husband Mike Williams, Clay Center, KS Grandchildren: Six Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 10:30 AM at the Clay Center United Methodist Church in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Glenn Tombaugh. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on will be from 3-8 PM Friday May 9, 2008 at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to may be made to the church in care of the funeral home.
