Alice Latham

ALICE ARLENE LATHAM died August 19, 2013 at her residence in Clay County KS at the age of 70. She was born on July 8, 1943 in Lincoln, NE the daughter of Emery John Latham and Alice May Laflin. She grew up in Greenleaf and graduated from Greenleaf High School. She owned and operated A.J. Upholstery from 1981-1991 in Texas. She then moved to Clay Center and worked as a seamstress for Scott's Specialty for 10 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Eagles Lodge both of Clay Center. Survivors include: Son: Robert Dean Wichman, JR., Clay Center, KS Son: Roy Wichman, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Robin Shears, Clay Center, KS Brother: Boyd Latham, IN 5 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas . Officiating the service will be Pastor Paul Tessaro. Inurnment will be at a later date. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 21 from 3-8pm at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to American Lung Association c/o funeral home.
