ALICE MARIE LOVENDAHL died September 28, 2007 at Medicalodge, Clay Center, KS at the age of 93. She was born on January 6, 1914 in Washington County KS, the daughter of Oscar and Ida (Olson) Peterson. She graduated from Clyde High School in 1931. After completing Normal Training to be qualified to teach, she taught for 2 years in a one-room schoolhouse. She married Albin Otto Lovendahl on October 8, 1932 and he preceded her in death on June 19, 1980. She was an active member of the Sunflower Club and the Dorcas Society and a Sunday School Teacher at the Baptist Church. She was a member of the Swedish Baptist Church, First Baptist Church and transferred to the Clyde Christian Church. She is also preceded by 3 sisters, 3 brothers, 1 granddaughter, 1 great-grandson and 3 sons-in-law.

Grandchildren: 16 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grandchildren
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas.
Officiating the service will be Rev. Fred Applegarth.
Burial will be at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Washington County, Kansas.
Visitation will be held on 3-8PM Monday, October 1, 2007, at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeal Home. The family will greet friends from 5-7PM.
