Alma Erickson

ALMA A .ERICKSON died December 6, 2010 at Presbyterian Manor, Clay Center, KS at the age of 95. ALMA A .ERICKSON was born on May 3, 1915 in Greenleaf, Kansas the daughter of Edward Gross and Sophia Oestreich. Alma was raisen in Linn, Kansas and graduated from Linn High School. She married Glenn Erickson on April 8, 1937. They farmed north of Clifton before retiring to Clay Center in 1978. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Clay Center. She is preceded in death by Glenn on August 1, 2002, a son, Dennis in 1945, a sister and a brother. Survivors include: Daughter: Glennis Carlson and husband Steve Manning, Rosehill, KS Grandchildren: 2 Granddaughters and 1 Great-grandson Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 10:30 AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. James Byers. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 3-8 PM Friday at the funeral home Memorials can be made to First Presbyterian Church or Meadowlark Hospice c/o the funeral home
