Alvin Koch

ALVIN ELMER KOCH died January 29, 2013 at Medicalodge, Clay Center, KS at the age of 89. He was born on December 12, 1923 in Clay County Kansas, the son of Herman and Lena (Spilker) Koch. He was raised and farmed in Clay County, Kansas all his life. Alvin married Flora Beikmann on May 6, 1951 in Linn. She preceded him in death on March 2, 2005. He was a member of St Paul Lutheran Church in Clay Center. Alvin is also preceded in death by a son, David, 3 brothers and a sister. Survivors include: Daughter: Ruth and husband Duane Kliewer, Hillsboro, KS Daughter: Lois Shope, Hillsboro, KS Son: Aaron Koch, Salina, KS 7 Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Paul Tessaro. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 3-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. The family will greet friends from 4-6 PM Memorials can be made to Medicalodge c/o the funeral home
