Andrew Albert Broden

ANDREW ALBERT BRODEN died June 27, 2010 at Golden Livingcenter, Wakefield, KS at the age of 94. Andrew was born on July 4, 1915 in Clay County Kansas, the son of William Broden and Ella Klintberg. Andrew was raised in Clay County. He served in the US Army during WWII. Andrew married Lola Heath on January 8, 1944. She preceded him in death on July 30, 2009. They made their home in Clay Center and he worked for Mouse Ford. They later lived and farmed north of Clay Center. He was a member of the American Legion. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Orville and his 3 sisters, Viola Johnson, Doris Broden, and Lorena Melgren. Survivors include: Brother: Ed Broden, Clay Center, KS Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 10:30 AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held from 3-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Meadowlark Hospice or to the Golden LivingCenter in care of the funeral home.
