Ann Branfort

ANN M. BRANFORT died August 4, 2007 at Clay County Medical Center, Clay Center, KS at the age of 92. Ann M. Branfort was born on September 17, 1914 in Clay County, Kansas the daughter of Andrew and Ann (Warner) Anderson. Ann was raised in Clay Center and graduated from CCCHS in 1932. She married Elwood Branfort on April 3, 1936 an the couple made their home in Green until moving to Clay Center in 1973. She was a member of the Clay Center United Methodist Church, Order of The Eastern Star, and was on the Board of Directors for the Rainbow Girls. She was preceded in death by a brother. Survivors include: Husband: Elwood Branfort, Clay Center, KS Son: Ron and wife, Twila Branfort, Wamego, KS Daughter: Karen and husband, Tom Williams, Benton, KS Grandchildren: Six Grand and Fifteen Great Grand Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at 11:00 am at the United Methodist Church in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Glenn Tombaugh. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Respect Calls will be held from 3-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Ann Branfort Memorial Fund to be designated later by the family.
