Anna Mae Kondratieff died January 29, 2008 at Presbyterian Manor, Clay Center, KS at the age of 86. Anna Mae was born on October 26, 1921 in Moreland, Idaho the daughter of JamesW. Carnahan and Windess E. Crites. She taught in rural Clay County from 1940 to 1944. She married Igor Kondratieff in 1944. He preceded her in death in 1965. She worked as a school secretary in Calfornia, retiring in 1989. She moved to Clay Center in 2005 . She is also preceded by a son, Neil and 2 brothers. Survivors include: Son: Nick and wife Jeanette Kondratieff, Clay Center, KS Son: Michael and wife Lynda Kondratieff, Seattle, WA Son: Kenneth Kondratieff, Clay Center, KS Sister: Jeanne Boling, Topeka, KS Brother: Paul Carnahan, Forebestown, CA Grandchildren: 4 Grand & 5 Great-grand Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 1, 2008 at 1:30 PM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Gerald Martin. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 3-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to Presbyterian Manor Good Samaritan Fund in care of the funeral home.
