Anna (Ohlde) Wendelken

ANNA L. (OHLDE) WENDELKEN died January 10, 2009 at Golden Livingcenter, Wakefield, KS at the age of 68. She was born on October 14, 1940 in Madona, Latvia the daughter of Walter Ohlde and Emma Rahe. She married Richard Wendelken in 1964. He preceded her in death in 2005. She worked at the Footlocker Distribution Center in Junction City for 12 years and worked at the Clay Center Dispatch. Anna was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, EHU, 4-H and Jolly Neighbor Club. She is also preceded by one sister and her parents. Survivors include: Daughter: Diane Wendelken, Manhattan, KS Daughter: Sheila and husband Jr. Bowser, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Leah and husband Van Reichert, Lawrence, KS Son: Mark Wendelken, Wakefield, KS Son: Richie and wife Amy Wendelken, Wakefield, KS Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Paul Tessaro. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas.
