Anne Girard

Anne M. Girard, age 100, of Miltonvale, died November 21, 2021 at Cloud County Health Center in Concordia, Kansas.  She was born June 18, 1921 to David and Mary Smith in rural Longford, Kansas. Anne was married to Emery H. Girard on August 10, 1937. Anne faithfully attended St. Anthony Catholic church where she was an active member for many years. She lived a fulfilling life and her love of God and her family and friends were of overall significance. She was preceded in death by her loving husband and her son David.

Survivors are Conrad Girard and wife Sandra of Miltonvale, Kenneth Girard and wife Trudey of Miltonvale, Rebecca Guy of Belleville, Bonnie Kohl and husband Steve of Miltonvale along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed and live on in the hearts of many.

Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 30 from 5-7 pm at the Phelps Funeral Home, Miltonvale, Kansas.

Private services for immediate family only will be held on December 1st at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Miltonvale, Kansas.

Interment will be in the Miltonvale Cemetery, Miltonvale, Kansas.

Memorials may be made to the Anne Girard Memorial Fund to be designated later c/o funeral home.
