ARLOND BARNETT MILLER died September 18, 2008 at Clay County Medical Center, Clay Center, KS at the age of 73. He was born on January 29, 1935 in Clay County, Kansas the son of George Miller and Grace Barnett. Arlond was raised in southern Clay County and graduated from Longford High School in 1954. He moved to Wichita and worked for Boeing Aircraft. He moved to Longford in 1965 and worked for Ft. Riley. He owned and operated Downtown Skelly from 1974 to 1983. Arlond forked for Raytheon Aircraft in Salina until he retired in 1997. He married Linda Hornbostel on September 4, 2004, she survives of the home. He was a member of Mizpah United Methodist Church, BPOE and former member of the Industry Lions Club. He is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Grandchildren: 7 Grand and 1 Great-grand
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 22, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Mizpah United Methodist Church in Clay County, Kansas.
Officiating the service will be Pastor Larry Brock.
Burial will be at the Greenridge Cemetery, Dickinson County, Kansas.
Visitation will be held on 2-5 PM Sunday at the funeral home
