ARMOND "FRENCHY" A. R. FRIGON, 88 died May 23, 2007 at Clay County Medical Center, Clay Center, KS. He was born on December 26, 1918 in Longford, Kansas, the son of Joseph and Antoinette (Bombardiar) Frigon. He made his home in Clay County most of his life. He married Arlene Nelson on May 9, 1941. He owned and operated Frigon Sporting Goods in Clay Center and sold fireworks for many years. He was a member of S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. American Trap Shooters Assn., Kansas Trap Shooters Assn., Kansas Trap Shooters Hall of Fame, Clay County Hospital Foundation, BPOE and American Legion. Arlene preceded him in death on March 31, 2006. He was also preceded by one brother, one sister and one grandson. Daughter: Jolene and husband Lloyd Frigon, Clay Center, KS Son: Raymond and Dee Frigon, Clay Center, KS Son: Harvey and Connie Frigon, Clay Center, KS Son: Phil and Jean Frigon, Clay Center, KS Sister: Genevieve McIntosh, Oak Hill, KS Brother: Ernest and wife Charlotte Fregon, Topeka, KS Brother: Bernard and wife Betty Frigon, Scottsdale, AZ Grandchildren: 10 Grandchildren and 19 Great-grandchildren Funeral Services: Saturday, May 26, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Clay Center, Kansas. Minister: The Rev. Larry Grennan Burial: Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation:3-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
