Arnold Runn

ARNOLD E. RUNN died October 8, 2007 at Medicalodge, Clay Center, KS at the age of 82. Arnold was born on June 22, 1925 in Clay Center, Kansas the son of Lars Runn and Carrie Bergquist. He graduated from Clay County Community High School in 1943. He served in the US Army during WWII. He married Betty Brill on March 24, 1951. They made their home in Wichita, Omaha, NE and Birmingham, AL before returning to Clay Center in 1986. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Lion and American Legion. Betty preceded him in death on July 4, 2007. Survivors include: Son: Gary and wife Carrie Runn, Florence, Italy Brother: Lawrence and wife Norma Runn, Lawrence, KS Sister: Linnea and husband Richard Mason, Fairborn, OH 2 Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 12, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Brian High. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 3-8PM Thursday at the funeral home Memorials can be made to Meadowlark Hospice or First Baptist Church c/o the funeral home
