Berneice Holtgren

BERNEICE HOLTGREN, 92 died Tuesday April 28, 2009 at the Clay County Medical Center, Clay Center, KS. She was born August 17, 1916 in Linn,Kansas the daughter of Louis and Clara (Kloth) Gross. She graduated from Linn High School in 1934. She moved to Clay Center and married Dewain Holtgren on November 20, 1938. She taught violin lessons for over 40 years. Dewain preceded her in death on January 27, 1983. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Clay County Arts Council. She is also preceded in death by a son, Darwin. Survivors: Son: Donald and wife Debbie Holtgren, Hammond , LA Brother: Merle and wife Olinda Gross, Washington, KS Grandchildren: 4 Grandchildren and 7 Great-grandchildren Funeral Services: Thursday,April 30, 2009 at 10:30 AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas.
