Bernice N. Stoffel

BERNICE NETTIE STOFFEL died May 27, 2012 at , Wapello, IA at the age of 84. Bernice was born on October 13, 1927 in Aurora, Kansas the daughter of Albert and Elvina (Chavey) Adam. Bernice attended the Woodruff Country School. She was a homemaker and also worked as a motel clerk. She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald; two sisters, Ruth Pearce and May Bauer; an infant brother; and her longtime companion, Marvin Lilliman. Survivors include: Son: Douglas Gene and his wife, Pat Stoffel, Sun City, AZ Son: Donald Stoffel, Los Angeles, CA 7 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchidren Sister: Doris McCrory, Arlington, TX Memorial services will be held on Monday, June 4, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Larry Grennan. Inurnment will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on will be held from 10:00 am until service time at the church on Monday, June 4, 2012. Memorials can be made to may be made to SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
