BERNICE B. TRAHAN died April 3, 2013 at Clay County Medical Center, Clay Center,
KS at the age of 95. She was born on December 20, 1917 in Aurora, Kansas the daughter of
Elzear and Lillie (Ijames) Gagna.
Bernice lived in Cloud County for most of her life until moving to Clay Center in 1999.
Bernice married Francis Trahan on November 7, 1938 and he preceded her in death in 1998.
She was a member of the S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Altar Society. Bernice is also preceded in death by an infant son, Alfred, brothers Alden and Gerald Gagna, half-brothers, Duane, Dean and Hobart Gagna and half-sister Fedora Nobert.

Son: Jim and wife Linda Trahan, Salina, KS
Daughter: Brenda and husband Marlin Peterson, Clay Center, KS
Son: Francis Trahan and wife Paulette Danielson, Topeka, KS
Grandchildren: 10 Grand and 15 Great Grandchildren
Half Brother: Harold Gagna, Chicago, IL
Half Sister: Norma Jean Anderson, Russell, KS
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 8, 2013 at 10:30AM at the SS. Peter and Paul
Catholic Church in Clay Center, Kansas.
Officiating the service will be Rev. Larry Grennan.
Burial will be at the Miltonvale Cemetery, Miltonvale , Kansas.
Visitation will be held on will be held from 2-5 PM Sunday and the Rosary will be recited at
5PM at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to may be made to the SS Peter and Paul Altar Society or to the St.
Anthony Catholic Church and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
