BERTHA LADENE DODDS, 78 died September 27, 2007 at Medicalodge, Clay Center, KS. She was born December 10, 1928 in Clay County, Kansas the daughter of Dean and Eva (Chestnut) James. She was raised in Idana, KS and graduated from Clay County Community High School in 1947. She married Gene Dodds on May 31, 1947. They made their home near Green, KS until moving to Clay Center in 1993. She was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church in Clay Center, Green HDU and was a 4-H leader.
