Betty J Carlson

Betty Jane Carlson, 70, died May 13, 2016 in Kansas City, KS. She was born on February 22, 1946 in Junction City, KS, the daughter of Arthur and Faye (Black) Greenwood. Betty was raised near the Chapman community. She graduated from Chapman High School and attended Brown-Mackie Business College in Salina. Betty married Robert G. Carlson on February 27, 1966. She worked with her husband at their heating and air business as well as their construction business. Betty was a former member of Sherer Memorial Lutheran Church in Chapman where she was active in a number of women’s groups. She is currently a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clay Center. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, infant brother and infant sister. Survivors: Husband: Robert G. Carlson, Clay Center, KS Son: Chris and wife Cathy, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Jannell Neill, Manhattan, KS. Grandchildren: 4 Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clay Center KS Officiating the service will be Pastor Paul Tessaro Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, KS Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 3-8 PM at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home Memorials: Betty J.
