Betty Lou Gingles

BETTY LOU GINGLES died March 29, 2010 at her residence in Clay Center, KS at the age of 55. She was born on November 29, 1954 in Clay Center Kansas, the daughter of Elton Hess and Mary Jean Garris. Betty was raised in Clay Center and graduated from CCCHS in 1972. She served in the US Army. Betty graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1985. She married Brian Chartier and they later divorced. She married Doug Gingles on August 17, 1985, he survives of the home. They moved to Grove OK in 1995. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Grove, OK Survivors include: Husband: Doug Gingles, Grove, OK Daughter: Larissa Chartier, Grove, OK Son: Jordan Gingles, Joplin, MO Sister: LaDonna and husband Bill Sherbert, Marion, KS Sister: RoseMary Reece, Riley, KS Sister: Jean and husband Lon Paquette, Manhattan, KS Sister: Eltanis and husband Ted Volen, Clay Center, KS Sister: Darlynn Sloan, Ft. Morgan, CO Sister: Cheryl and husband Jim Campbell, CA Sister: Melody Sloan, Broken Arrow, OK Brother: Butch and wife Nicole Hess, Clay Center, KS Grandchildren: 4 Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 10 :30 AM at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Grant Clay. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas with military honors. Visitation will be held on 3-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. the family will greet friends from 5-7PM Memorials can be made to Evangelical Covenant Church or her grandchildren's educational fund c/o the funeral home
