BETTY JEAN HUFF, 91 died December 17, 2014 at Leonardville Nursinghome in Leonardville, KS. She was born on January 6, 1923 in Clay Center, KS. The daughter of Frank and Maude (Starkweather) Katrades. Betty graduated from CCCHS in 1940.She married Bruce O. McCullough and later divorced. She then married Ray W. Huff on September 1, 1944 and he preceded her on May 24, 1976. She worked as a bookkeeper at Browne's Clothing then as a dental assistant for Dr. Robert Montgomery for 21 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, B.P.W. serving as president, Clay County Historical Society, and a former Brownie Scout Troop Leader. She is preceded by her parents and one sister. Survivors: Daughter: Diana and husband Al Kuck, Clay Center, KS Son: Bruce and wife Margaret McCullough, Superior, NE Brother: George Katrades, Menifee, CA Grandchildren: 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 20 at 10:30am at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Rev. Scott Lingle Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, KS Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19 from 3-8pm at the funeral home. Memorials: Jean Huff Memorial Fund c/o the funeral home.
