BETTY I. ROBERTS, 79 died May 8, 2014 at the Family Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wichita, KS. She was born on August 1, 1934 in Oak Hill, Kansas, the daughter of Archie and Helen (Comfort) Rothfuss. Betty was raised in Miltonvale, graduating from Miltonvale High School in 1952. She worked as a CNA at the Clay County Hospital. Betty married H. Lowell Roberts on September 26, 1954. They made their home and farmed in the Idana area before moving to Texas. They returned to Clay Center in the early 1960's and she worked at Presbyterian Manor until she retired in 1995. Betty was a member of the First Baptist Church, being baptized in 1964 and also served as a deaconess. She also a member of BPW, Pilot Club, numerous business clubs and volunteered at the Lighthouse for Christ. Survivors: Daughter: Sherry and husband Jim Copenhaver, Wichita, KS Daughter: Jan Roberts, Wichita, KS Brother: Lawrence and wife Anita Rothfuss, Willis, TX Brother: Dewayne and wife Beth Rothfuss, Columbia, GA Sister: Shirley Rothfuss, Salina, KS Grandchildren: Jami Nicole and husband Collyer Burbach, Benjamin Lowell Roberts, Olivia Suzann Roberts, Elijah James Roberts Great Granddaughters: Ava Nicole Burbach, Ella Sophie Burbach Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Matthew Coleman. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 11, 2014 from 2-5 PM at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home. Memorials: The church or Parkinson's Disease Foundation Inc. c/o the funeral home
