Beulah Shroyer

Beulah Shroyer, 95, of Miltonvale, died peacefully March 26, 2015. She was born December 22, 1919 in Ames to Emile and Ida (Bertrand) Lagasse. She was married to Ted Robertson in 1939. To this union was born a daughter and son. She later married George Shroyer. Beulah loved to cook and enjoyed having her family around her for meals and visits at home and at the park when the weather was nice. She was very active in church and played the piano. She loved children and her pet cats. Survivors include daughter Carolyn Winters of Clay Center and son Jerry Robertson (Jackie) of Hallettsville, Texas. 5 Grandchildren; Brad Cyr (Kathie) of Clay Center, Barb Beaver (Bob) of Clay Center, Lynn Crawford (Jeff) of Beaumont Texas, Brent Cyr and friend Tom Paar of Denver Colorado, Julie Warner (Joey) of Beaumont Texas; 8 Great Grandchildren; Aaron (Anna) Cyr, Alicia (Josh) Lenhart, Andrew (Jenna) Beaver, Jarrod Crawford, Laurie Crawford, Lindsey (Kenley) Hickman, Tiffany Schwartzenburg, and Jake Warner and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren. Step Daughter Sheryl Gray (Frank) of Abilene, Delbert Shroyer (Rosalee) of Missouri; 7 Step-Grandchildren, 13 Step Great Grandchildren, 13 Great-Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband George Shroyer, son-in-law Ron Winters, two brothers and one sister. Family visitation will be held Sunday from 2-5PM at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home in Clay Center. Services will be held Monday at 10:30AM at F.C. Hill Memorial Wesleyan Church in Miltonvale, Kansas with the Rev. Mark Surbrook officiating. Burial will be at 1:30PM at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center. Memorials may be made to the World Mission Haiti Ministry and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
