BONITA ANN “Bonnie” (BENJAMIN) THOMASON died December 20, 2012 at Alive
Hospice, Madison, TN at the age of 74. She was born on September 17, 1938 in Miltonvale
Kansas, the daughter of Leo Benjamin and Lila Thompson.
Bonnie was raised in Clay Center and graduated from CCCHS in 1956. She served in the
US Army from 1957 to 1959. Bonnie made her home in Tennessee from 1989 to 1997 when she
moved to Virginia. She worked for GEICO Insurance until her retirement in 2003. Following
her retirement, She made her home in Solomon, KS, Tennessee and Clay Center, KS. She
moved to Nashville to live near her daughter. Bonnie was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and was
active in Meals on Wheels. Bonnie is preceded in death by a brother, David.

Daughter: Angela and husband David Rosier, Concord, NC
Daughter: Katrina Thomason, Charlotte, N.C.
Brother: Francis Benjamin, Chico, CA
Sister: Belinda Knipp, Derby, KS
13 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the
Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas.
Officiating the service will be David Rosier.
Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 AM until service time at the funeral home
Memorials can be made to may be made to Alive Hospice of Nashville, TN or the American
Cancer society and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
