Bonnie Mcchesney

BONNIE LOU MCCHESNEY died March 6, 2010 at Mercy Health Center College Ave, Manhattan, KS at the age of 71. She was born on May 28, 1938 in Clay Center Kansas, the daughter of Cleve “Buck” and Bertha Mae (Hinshaw) Reed . She was raised and attended school in Clay Center. Bonnie married John Lewis McChesney on August 21, 1966. She worked as the office manager for Heritage Village in Wakefield. John preceded her in death on August 20, 2007. She is also preceded by her parents, a granddaughter, a great-granddaughter and a brother. Survivors include: Daughter: Pam and husband Steve Graham, Clay Center, KS Brother: Don and wife Twila Reed, Clay Center, KS Brother: Larry Reed, Clay Center, KS Step-Mother: Arlene Reed, Clay Center, KS Grandchildren: Brock and wife Jeana Taylor, Tyler Taylor & Chancelor Graham Great-Grandson: Paden Taylor Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 10:30 AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Father Larry Grennan. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 3-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home Memorials can be made to Bonnie McChesney Memorial Fund to be designated later c/o the funeral home
