BOYD ARVIN RANDLE died July 23, 2011 at his residence, in rural Clay Center, KS at the age
of 80. He was born on June 21, 1931 in Idana Kansas, the son of Boyd Edwin and Martha
Katherine (Moelling) Randle. Arvin attended CCCHS. He married Joan Kent on April 3, 1948.
They farmed and raised greyhounds in the Morganville community and he was recognized as a
top greyhound breeder. In 1993 they moved to Clay Center. Arvin was a member of St. Pauls
Episcopal Church, BPOE, National Greyhound Association, he was inducted in to the Greyhound
Hall of Fame and served on the Clay Center Country Club Holding Board. He is preceded in
death by a son, Brad in 1973, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Wife: Joan Randle, Clay Center, KS
Son: Marc and wife Susie Randle, Morganville, KS
Daughter: Marla and husband Steve Dauer, Salina, KS
Grandchildren: 3 Grandchildren and 2 Great- Grandchildren
A private, family graveside service will be held at a later date
Burial will be at the Lincoln Cemetery, Clay County, Kansas.
