BRUCE E. KIMBROUGH died April 1, 2011 at Medical Plaza Hospital, Ft. Worth, TX at the age of 70. Bruce was born on July 28, 1940 in Clay Center, Kansas the son of and . Bruce married Elizabeth Jordan on June 9, 1962 at Idana. He was a general contractor and EMT. He was a member of the Green's Creek Baptist Church in Dublin, Texas and a member and Deacon of the Clay Center Baptist Church. Bruce was preceded in death by two brothers, Vaughn and Don Kimbrough. Survivors include: Wife: Elizabeth Kimbrough, Dublin, TX Son: Tim and his wife, Shannon Kimbrough, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Deneen and her husband, Dale Tiemann, Dublin, TX Six Grandchildren Brother: Leon and his wife, Cheryl Kimbrough, Kansas City, MO Sister In-Law: Hazel Kimbrough, Clay Center, KS Sister In-Law: Pat Kimbrough, Leavenworth, KS Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 11:00AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Matthew Coleman. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. There will be no respect calls. Memorials may be made to the Clay Center 1st Baptist Church and sent in care of the funeral home.
