Carl Pyle, Jr.

Former Clay Center resident Carl Austin Pyle Jr, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2022, in Macon, Georgia following a long battle with heart disease.  He was born to Carl and Floy Pyle on May 5, 1933, in Topeka, Kansas.  Carl is preceded in death by his parents Carl and Floy Pyle, sister Phyllis Pyle, first wife and mother of his four children Rosemary Pyle, second wife Ann Pyle of Milledgeville, Georgia, and son Douglas Pyle.  He is survived by son Carl A Pyle of Salina, KS; daughters, Kimberly (Pyle) Abernathy of Manhattan,KS, Jennifer (Pyle) Calderon of Clearwater, KS, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  Carl's greatest love was his family. He was a strong Christian and Veteran of the United States Air Force.  A private service will be scheduled at a later date.
