CAROLYN SUE ARPIN, 77 died August 3, 2014 at Clay County Medical Center in Clay Center, KS. She was born on November 23, 1936 in Cloud County, KS. The daughter of Leo and Cleo (Mason) Empson. Sue was raised in Concordia and graduated from Concordia High School in 1954. She married Francis "Gene" Arpin on November 18, 1953. Sue worked as a school secretary for USD-379 until her retirement in 1993. Gene preceded her in death on May 21, 2012. She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Bon Fire Busters Camping Club, Red Cross Volunteer and Clay County Museum volunteer. She was also preceded in death by parents, and a brother Survivors: Daughter: Peggy Arpin companion James Stunkel, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Linda and huband Randy Willoughby, Minneapolis, KS Son: Mike and wife Gayla Arpin, Coffeeville, KS 7 Grandchildren and 8 Great-grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Clay Center, KS Officiating the service will be The Rev. Randall Weber Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Clyde, KS at 2pm Friday. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 3-7 PM with rosary at 7PM at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home Memorials: Gene Arpin Scholarship Fund c/o the funeral home
