Carolyn Kay Winters died September 29, 2025, in Manhattan, KS. She was born in Concordia, KS to Charles Debocus and Beulah Estelle (LaGasse) Robertson on July 29, 1940. Carolyn was raised in the Aurora, KS area and was a graduate of Miltonvale High School. After high school, Carolyn married Carmen Cyr. To this union 3 children were born. They divorced in 1973. She later reconnected with her childhood neighbor, Ronald Winters. They both had interest in each other but didn’t express it until Carolyn reached out many years later. They were considered the perfect couple and married in 1994. Ron preceded her in death in 2013. Carolyn worked as a cook and manager at Dairy Queen for 17 years. She then went on to work as a cook for Head Start in Clay Center and Salina. Carolyn was a master couponer and enjoyed going to garage sales. She is preceded in death by her husband and parents.
