CATHERINE M. THUMA died February 11, 2007 at Abilene Memorial Hospital, Abilene, KS at the age of 89. CATHERINE M. THUMA was born on September 22, 1917 in Clay County Kansas, the daughter of Frank and Edith (Bergin) Riechers.
She attended Schauble grade school in Clay County, Kansas. She was a graduate of Clay Center Community High School in 1936. She was married to Harold Walker and they later divorced. She then married Donald Thuma and he preceded her in 2003. She worked 29 years for Beech Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas and then moved to Texas where she lived the next 17 years. She moved back to Kansas in 1995. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the O.E.S. of Hartford, Kansas. She attended the Fact United Methodist Church in Clay County, Kansas.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 10:30 AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Phyllis Garrett and Pastor Kay Bishop.
Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas.
Visitation will be held on 3-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
