Charlene Cameron died November 5, 2007 at Select Specialty Hospital, Topeka, KS at the age of 77. Charlene was born on January 27, 1930 in Clay Center Kansas, the daughter of Erskine Sterrett and Bertha Poots.
She was raised in Clay Center and graduated from Clay County Community High School in 1948. She married Leonard Cameron on March 16, 1951. She worked at Duckwall's. they lived in Manhattan before moving to Washington state in 1969. They returned to Clay Center in 2004. She was a member of the Eagles in Manhattan and Washington state. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clay Center. She is preceded in death by 7 brothers.
