CHARLES H JAMIS died June 8, 2010 at Golden Livingcenter, Wakefield, KS at the age
of 88. CHARLES H JAMIS was born on October 26, 1921 in Dickinson County, KS the son of
Charles H Jamis and Ina Stoffer.
Mr. Jamis graduated from Chapman High School in 1941. He married Neva Ruth Steele
on March 14, 1944 and she survies of Wakefield. He retired from the U.S. Marines as a Master
Sargent in 1966 serving in WWII and Korea. He worked for Gates Lear Jet in Wichita until he
retired. They moved to Wakefield in 1984. He was a member of the United Methodist Church,
Masonic Lodge, VFW Life Member and American Legion all of Wakefield. He was also a
member of the ISIS Shrine of Salina. He is preceded by 1 daughter and 1 sister.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist
Church in Wakefield, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Diana Stewart.
Burial will be at the Livingston Union Cemetery, Dickinson County, Kansas.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 10 from 5-7 PM at the Wakefield Funeral Home
