CHARLES S. LOSEY, JR., 88 died March 27, 2015 at his residence in Clay Center, Kansas . He was born on October 29, 1926 in Clay Center, Kansas . The son of Charles and Pauline (Petermeyer) Losey, Sr.. Chuck graduated from CCCHS in 1944. He served in the US Army during WWII. He worked for Brewer Motor Company in Manhattan and he moved back to Clay Center in 1952 and worked for Skinner Motor Co. Chuck worked for the state highway department in the mid 50s. He operated the Vickers Station in Clay Center until 1976 when he went to work for Hutchinson-Mayrath before retiring in 1992. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Clay Center. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother. Survivors: Son: David and wife Meg, Losey, Cheney, WA Daughter: Audrey Flores, Clay Center Daughter: Diane Losey, Omaha, NE Yvonne and husband Bob Bartley, Oak Hill 11 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren Sister: Lois Norris, Riley Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 10:30AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home in Clay Center, KS Officiating the service will be Burial will be in the Mizpah Cemetery, Clay County, KS Visitation will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015 from 3-8PM at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home. Memorials: may be made to the Clay County Hospital Foundation and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
