Charles Rand

CHARLES EDWARD RAND, 93 died December 26, 2014 at Park Villa Nursing Home in Clyde, KS. He was born on August 23, 1921 in Washington County, KS. Charles was the son of Ora and Mae (Lavender) Rand. Charles graduated from Linn High School. He served in the Army during WWII. After returning from the war, he worked for Northern Natural Gas Company, retiring in 1983. Charles married Particia Mayer LeBlanc on June 2, 1979 and she survives of the home. He was a member of the Clyde VFW, serving as Commander, and the Clifton American Legion. Charles was preceded by a daughter, Charlene Fieldler, his parents, one sister and one brother. Survivors: Wife: Patricia Rand, Clifton, KS Daughter: Lori Ranker and husband Greg Schaller, Lawrence, KS Step Daughter: Linda and husband Harold Kegle, Clyde, KS Step Daughter: Cheryl Stevens, Gulf Port, MS Step Daughter: Paula and husband Paul Tatum, Concordia, KS Step Son: Patrick and wife Terri LeBlanc, Lyons, KS 3 Grandchildren, 8 Step Grandchildren and 8 Step Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 10:30 AM at the Turner Funeral Chapel in Clifton, KS Officiating the service will be Fr.
