Charles Tucker

CHARLES RODNEY TUCKER, 84 died January 19, 2015 at Ottawa County Hospital in Minneapolis, KS. He was born on March 31, 1930 in Ottawa County, KS, the son of Guy and Grace Hazel (Comfort) Tucker. Charles was raised in Ottawa County. He served in the US Army, seeing action in the Korean War. Charles married Barbara Hay on August 8, 1951 in Colorado Springs. He worked for Beech in Wichita and Salina, farmed in Ottawa County. Charles also drove for Peterson Transportation of Glasco and Bennett of Salina. He is preceded in death by his parents Survivors: Wife: Barbara Tucker, Miltonvale, KS Son: Guy and wife Jamie Tucker, New Cambria, KS Son: Don and wife Sue Tucker, Wells, KS Son: Alvin Tucker and companion Linda Knox, Minneapolis, KS Son: Ron Tucker, Tescott, KS Sister: LaDonna Hauck, Minneapolis, KS 17 Grandchildren and 21 Great-Grandchildren Private, family services will be held at a later date.
