Cindy Lee Ochoa died June 16, 2008 at Midland Hospice House, Topeka, KS at the age of 39. Cindy was born on April 14, 1969 in Junction City Kansas, the daughter of Henry Earl Roberts and Susan Steiner. Cindy graduated from Riley County High School in 1987 and then from Wichita State University in with a B.A. in education with Magna Cumlade Honors. She taught at Dodge City and worked for the Big Lakes Development Home in Manhattan. She also worked as a substitute teacher at Blue Valley and Riley County. She was a member of the Scoot A Boot Dance Club and the Breast Cancer Awareness Group in Manhattan. She is preceded by her father, step father, infant step-brother and grandparents. Survivors include: Mother: Susan Bergsten, Riley, KS Son: Christopher Ochoa and companion Hope Green, Wamego, KS Son: Benjamine Ochoa, Manhattan, KS Daughter: Megan Ochoa, Olympia, WA Brother: Shawn and wife Sandra Roberts, Pfedelbach, Germany Step-Brother: Kim and wife Rhonda Bergsten, Leonardville, KS Step-Brother: Kelvin and wife Susie Bergsten, Blacksburg, VA Step-Brother: Dana and wife Walleta Bergsten, Clay Center, KS Granddaughter: Sayde Ochoa Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Cemetery in Wakefield, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Kevin Larson. Burial will be at the Highland Cemetery, Wakefield, KS.
