Clara Victory

CLARA ANNETTA VICTORY died May 18, 2010 at Presbyterian Manor, Clay Center, KS at the age of 91. She was born on July 2, 1918 in Havelock, NE the daughter of Lyman Williams and Anna Beins. Clara was raised in Alma, NE and graduated from Alma High School. She married Lyle Turner on July 29, 1939, they later divorced. She made her home in Grand Island, NE before moving to Hutchinson in 1956. Clara married Ray Victory in August 1964. He preceded her in death in August 1974. She worked for Dillon's for 31 years. Clara moved to Salina in 1990 and then to Clay Center in March 2010. She was a member of the Congregational Church in Hutchinson and the American Legion Auxillary. She is also preceded by a son, David Turner, 4 brothers and 2 sisters Survivors include: Daughter: Bonnie ans husband Phil Barber, Wakefield, KS Daughter: Carole Marler, Palm Beach , FL Daughter: Janet and husband Micky Crabb, Ft. Lauderdale, FL Sister: Jeanne Cretzler, Grand Island, NE Grandchildren: 9 Grand and 10 Great-grand Funeral Services will be held at the Maple Creek Cemetery in Precept, NE. The day and time of the service will be announced at a later date. Memorials can be made to Clara Victory memorial fund to be designated later c/o the funeral home
