Clarence Weller, Sr.

CLARENCE C. WELLER, SR., 89 died December 17, 2013 at Clay County Medical Center in Clay Center, KS. He was born on September 16, 1924 in Clay Center, Kansas . The son of Marion and Violet (Roberts) Weller. Clarence was raised in Clay Center. He served in the US Army during WWII. Clarence married Annie Wilkerson on January 4, 1946. He worked for the City of Clay Center for many years, retiring in the 1980's. Annie preceded him in death on February 6, 2008. Clarence was a member of the American Legion in Clay Center. He is also preceded in death by an infant son, Roger and 3 brothers. Survivors: Daughter: Patricia and husband Lon Merrill, Clay Center, KS Son: Clint and wife Donna Weller, Clay Center, KS Son: Mark and wife Chris Weller, Kearney, NE Sister: Darlene Williams, Edmond, OK 10 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren, 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 20, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home in Clay Center, KS Officiating the service will be Pastor Paul Tessaro Burial will be in the Fancy Creek Cemetery, Clay County, KS Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2013 from 3-8 PM at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home Memorials: Clarence Weller Memorial Fund to be designated later c/o the funeral home
