Cliff F. Slocum

CLIFFORD F. SLOCUM, 56 died August 28, 2014 at Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan, KS. He was born on August 13, 1958 in Wiesbaden, Germany. The son of Clarence and Justina (Becker) Slocum. Mr. Slocum married Margo Humbard on March 26, 1984 and she survives of the home. He was a Navy Veteran. He worked as a Physical Plant Supervisor Sr. in the Electrical Department for Kansas State University. Survivors: Wife: Margo Slocum, Manhattan, KS Son: Spencer Slocum, Manhattan, KS Daughter: Sara Slocum, Manhattan, KS Sister: Cornelia Polluk, Junction City, KS Sister: Marie Maddy, New Mexico Sister: Sharon Schull, Florida Sister: Carol Kay Mohler, Manhattan, KS Sister: Grace Hirsch, Pennsylvania Brother: John Cockerham, Osborn, KS Grandchildren: Kacie Slocum and Brogan Doyle Mother-In-Law: Jane Carter, Junction City, KS Military Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 1pm at the Kansas Veteran's Cemetery at Fort Riley in Manhattan, KS Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 3-7pm at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Cliff Slocum Memorial Fund c/o the funeral home.
