CONNIE L. ROBERTS died November 5, 2013 at 1703 Carolyn Dr., Clay Center, KS at the age of 75. CONNIE L. ROBERTS was born on August 12, 1938 in Pratt Kansas, the daughter of J.E. Watson and Lela Chance. Connie lived in Jetmore and Dodge City before moving to Clay Center in 2009. She married JW "Bill" Roberts on June 5, 1954 and he survives of the home. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clay Center. Survivors include: Husband: JW "Bill" Roberts, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Sherry J. and husband Jon Bonawitz, Manhattan, KS Son: William E. Roberts, Grandprairie, TX Son: Larry W. Roberts Grandson: Jonathan Santo, Lawrence, KS Granddaughter: Bethany Santo, Wamego, KS Great Granddaughter: Kailey Sage Zoeller, Wamego, KS Sister: Sue and husband Leon Socthorn, Pampa, TX Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 1:30 PM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Matthew Coleman. Burial will be at the Valley View Cemetery, Manhattan, Kansas. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7 from 3-8pm at the funeral home Memorials can be made to St. Judes Children Hospital or Meadowlark Hospice c/o funeral home.
