Cyril Hess

CYRIL HESS died May 19, 2008 at Medicalodge, Clay Center, KS at the age of 83. He was born on February 4, 1925 in , the son of James Hess and Elsie Carlson. He served in the US Army during WWII. He worked for a general contractor in Clay Center, Clay Center Concrete Plant, as an independant carpenter and operated a dray and mowing service. He married Berneta Gee in 1980. She preceded him in death in 2001. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Clay Center and Carpenters Union #750 in Junction City. He is also preceded by an infant son, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, a daughter and a grandson. Survivors include: Son: Daton and wife Liana Hess, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Diana and husband Terry Fleming, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Debra and husband Steve Lehman, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Trudy Hess, Manhattan, KS Grandchildren: 5 Grand and several Great-grand Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 10:30 AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 3-8PM Friday at the funeral home Memorials can be made to Meadowlark Hospice c/o the funeral home
