Dalbert Hitsman

DALBERT HITSMAN died February 16, 2008 at Stoneybrook Retirement Comm., Manhattan, KS at the age of 94. He was born on April 17, 1913 in Vining, Kansas the son of Vern Hitsman and Mary Elizabeth Mosburg. He married Matilda Bailey on March 10, 1934. He worked for the City of Clay Center at the Disposal Plant. He also worked with his wife as a hair dresser before moving to Texas. They operated a trailer park in Edinburg, TX. They returned to Clay Center in 1993. Matilda preceded him in death on September 21, 1999. Survivors include Son: Dwight Hitsman, Tulsa, OK Son: Vernon Hitsman, Canton, MS Sister: June Crowl, Salina, KS Brother: Ronald Hitsman, Clay Center, KS Grandchildren: 9 Grand and 6 Great-Grand No funeral services are planned Visitation will be held on 3-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
