Dan Kane

Dan Kane, 64 died May 21, 2018 in Clay Center, KS. He was born on July 1, 1953 in Cheverly, MD, the son of William Matthew, Jr. and Shirley (Steves) Kane. Dan was raised in Hays, KS and graduated from Hays High School in 1973. He attended North Central Kansas Vo-Tech. Dan worked as a heavy equipment operator for Alsop Sand Co. He married Linda Kite on June 21, 1985. Dan later worked for Mastercarved Memorials. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Friends of Fancy Creek Range, Boy Scout Leader, and a hunter safety instructor.
