Daniel Stevenson

Daniel Stevenson died February 22, 2008 at Clay County Medical Center, Clay Center, KS at the age of 70. Daniel was born on August 24, 1937 in Clay County, Kansas the son of Marvin and Helen (Marsh) Stevenson. He attended rural grade school and graduated from Clay Center High School. He served in the US Navy. He returned to Clay County and worked as a Farmer and Dairyman. He married Karen Ingrum on June 4, 1960, she survives of the home. He was on the Clay County Rural Water Duistrict #2 board. Survivors include: Wife: Karen Stevenson, Miltonvale, KS Son: Hugh and wife Deanna Stevenson, Simpson, KS Son: Aaron Stevenson, Beloit, KS Son: Eric Stevenson, Miltonvale, KS Daughter: Sally Stevenson, Overland Park, KS Daughter: Sara and husband Dennis Randolph, Johnstown, NY Daughter: Belle and husband Randy Erickson, Grove, OK Brother: Lee and wife Linda Stevenson, Prairie Village, KS Sister: Anne Thompson, Clay Center, KS Sister: Louise and husband Steve Ross, Carthage, MO Sister: Linda Shiavoni, Belton, MO 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at 10:30 AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Wilbur Schoneweis. Burial will be at the Idana Cemetery, Idana, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 4-8 PM Monday at the funeral home Memorials can be made to Clay County Hospital Foundation in care the funeral home.
