Darlene Obenland

Darlene Dorothy Obenland, 91 died August 21, 2023, in Clay Center, KS.  She was born on May 23, 1932, in Clifton, the daughter of Arthur and Clara (Damman) Dittmer.  Darlene was raised in the Clifton community.  She married Donald Obenland on December 14, 1958.  They made their home in Clay Center where they raised their family and were foster parents for many children.  Don preceded her in death on February 26, 2020.  Darlene was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, American Legion Auxiliary and served as a Cub Scout leader.  She was also preceded in death by her parents and a stepson, Doug Obenland.

4 Grandchildren and 2 Great-grandsons

Funeral Services: Friday, September 1, 2023, at 10:30AM at the St Paul's Lutheran Church in Clay Center, KS

Burial: Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas
